About The Position

As a part-time unarmed patrol officer at a manufacturing and industrial location in Mooresville, North Carolina, you will help safeguard clients by monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, supporting access control, responding to alarms, documenting observations, and providing customer service. The role offers a flexible schedule, with access to a platform for viewing and claiming additional shifts. The posted schedule is Friday and Saturday, 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM. The pay rate is $18.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state or local laws and regulations prior to employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors while following site-specific security procedures and policies.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access control points, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity according to site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, follow established emergency response protocols, and notify appropriate personnel.
Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns, and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.
