About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol officer in Bordentown, New Jersey, serving a technology, media, and telecommunications location. The role involves maintaining a visible security presence, conducting routine patrols, and providing customer service. This is a driving post and requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal’s Driver Policy; the posting also requires a valid New Jersey driver’s license held for at least one year.

The schedule is Tuesday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Saturday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The pay rate is $19.50 per hour. CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A valid New Jersey driver’s license held for at least one year.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable licensing requirements that may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and support emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and support visitor management by verifying credentials and directing guests according to site requirements.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports and communicate security-related information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
