About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Security Guard to support a commercial real estate location in Santee, California. The role requires driving and a valid driver’s license. The officer will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, assist tenants and visitors, and communicate with site personnel. The position pays $18.50 per hour and is scheduled Monday through Friday, 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas.
Monitor site access and visitor and contractor activity; report suspicious activity, property concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency services as directed by site procedures.
Prepare clear and accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs.
