About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed patrol Security Guard for a commercial real estate location in Charlotte, North Carolina. The officer will help safeguard the site by monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and providing customer service and clear communication. The role includes working with tenants, visitors, vendors, and clients, following site-specific security procedures, and responding to emergencies and other incidents. The listed schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The pay rate is $17.85 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements applicable under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and clients while following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the property, perimeter, access points, parking areas, and common areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor site access, verify authorized visitors and vendors as directed, and report unusual conditions or attempted unauthorized entry.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and emergency responders when needed.
Accurately document patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities according to site procedures.
