About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed patrol officer to serve and safeguard clients at a cultural institution in Forest Park, Illinois. The officer will patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide customer service to guests, staff, and visitors. The role involves communicating clearly, responding professionally to concerns, and helping maintain a welcoming environment. The position pays $17.41 per hour and is scheduled Monday, Saturday, and Sunday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, staff, members, and guests by carrying out security procedures, location-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, medical situations, disturbances, and other critical events while following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directing guests, and report unusual conditions, hazards, or policy violations.
Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation.
