About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol driver for route coverage at a chemical and petrochemical location in Shepherdsville, Kentucky. The role involves routine and random patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, reporting security concerns, monitoring site activity, and providing customer service. This is a driving position and requires a valid driver’s license under Allied Universal’s driver policy. The position pays $18.00 per hour and is scheduled from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Requirements

Possess a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable licensing requirements under state or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following established reporting and escalation protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the location, including the perimeter, access points, parking areas, and operational areas as permitted.
Monitor access activity, observe unusual conditions or unauthorized activity, and document observations according to site procedures.
Follow location requirements for personal protective equipment and restricted-area access while supporting a professional and orderly environment.
