About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring an unarmed patrol security guard to support a financial institution location in Frederick, Maryland. The role involves monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, reporting security-related concerns, and providing customer service and communication. This is a part-time position scheduled Friday and Saturday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, paying $21.34 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state or local laws and regulations before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following established escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and delivery activity; report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate contacts.
Complete accurate patrol logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.
