About The Position
As a part-time Unarmed Security Officer at a retail location in Covington Township, Pennsylvania, you will serve and safeguard clients and support a welcoming environment for employees, shoppers, and visitors. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide customer service and communication. The role represents Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, care, and integrity through teamwork. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The pay rate is $17.43 per hour. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to shoppers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations.
- Observe and report unusual conditions, policy violations, potential hazards, and unauthorized activity to appropriate personnel.
- Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities according to site-specific procedures and Allied Universal requirements.
