About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol officer for a healthcare location in Lees Summit, Missouri. The role provides security and customer service to patients, visitors, and staff while helping maintain a welcoming environment. The officer conducts routine patrols, monitors access and visitor activity, responds to incidents and emergencies, and communicates relevant information to site personnel and supervisors. The position pays $21.39 per hour and is scheduled overnight Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Be able to restrain individuals as needed.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff while following security procedures and site-specific policies.
• Carry out emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond calmly to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations, coordinating with site personnel and/or first responders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site procedures, and provide directions and assistance.
• Accurately document incidents, observations, and patrol activities.
• Communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
