About The Position

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent experience.
Valid security license or registration as required by applicable state and local laws, such as a Guard Card where required.
Ability to obtain and maintain required alcohol service certification within the timeframe specified by applicable state and local regulations.
Good working knowledge of security operations, safety practices in a business environment, and enforcement procedures.
Ability to perform duties professionally and make independent, sound judgment decisions within applicable policies and procedures.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Sound judgment, tact, and diplomacy.
Strong sense of teamwork and ability to execute programs.
Ability to perform constant walking, climb stairs, lift and carry more than 50 pounds, and sit occasionally.
Must be at least 18 years old at the time of employment.

Responsibilities

Bring the Pillars of Service—Connected, Optimistic, Service Oriented, and Memorable—to life through interactions with the team and guests.
Protect the safety and security of guests, team members, and venue assets while maintaining a service-oriented and connected presence.
Check identification of guests who appear to be under 30 and are drinking alcoholic beverages in the venue.
Lead guests and team members in emergency evacuation procedures and provide assistance as needed.
Monitor and authorize the entrance and departure of employees, guests, and other persons to help prevent theft and maintain venue security and safety.
May write reports documenting daily activities and irregularities, including equipment or property damage, theft, unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
Patrol the premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure the security of doors, windows, and gates.
Enforce Cosm policy regarding photos, videos, and recording devices during shows.
Operate detection devices to screen individuals and prevent prohibited articles from entering restricted areas.
Warn people of rule infractions or violations and apprehend or evict violators from the premises using a professional, service-oriented approach.
Perform essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodation, while following company policies and procedures in training materials and the employee handbook.
