About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Badge Operations in Moon Township, Pennsylvania. The role provides a consistent assigned site and weekly anchor shift, with a six-month commitment, and the option to claim additional shifts through the company’s scheduling platform. Additional shifts may allow the employee to work up to 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back. The role supports access control and security at a transportation location, including customer service, monitoring restricted-area access, operating access-control systems, responding to incidents, and conducting patrols. Pay is $17.51 per hour. The scheduled shift is Tuesday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state or local laws and regulations.
• Have a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

• Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a transportation location.
• Monitor and control access to restricted areas by verifying credentials, authorizations, and visitor documentation in accordance with site requirements.
• Operate access-control systems and maintain accurate records of entries, exits, denied-access attempts, and visitor activity.
• Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, escalating concerns through established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, terminal areas, and the surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized entry and identify security-related concerns.
