About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Guard Enhanced for an assigned financial services site in New York, NY. The position provides a fixed weekly anchor shift requiring a six-month commitment, with the option to claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform. Additional shifts may provide opportunities to increase hours, potentially up to 40 hours per week, while retaining the option to scale back. Pay is $17.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Saturday, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply before employment, subject to state and local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, vendor, and delivery activity according to site procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility and perimeter, observing for unusual activity and reporting security concerns.
• Complete accurate reports, logs, and other required documentation while maintaining a professional presence.
