About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed patrol security officer for a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Saint Charles, Missouri. The officer will help safeguard the site, maintain a visible presence, conduct patrols, support a welcoming environment, and provide customer service to employees and visitors. The role involves communicating clearly, responding professionally to concerns, and following site procedures and Allied Universal values.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, parking areas, access points, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter, identifying and reporting unusual conditions.
Monitor access activity, verify credentials, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity as required.
Respond professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, notifying appropriate site contacts or emergency responders when needed.
Prepare accurate reports on patrol observations, incidents, and security concerns, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
