Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Systems Monitor
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol officer at a financial institution location in Charlotte, North Carolina. The officer will safeguard clients, employees, and visitors by conducting patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, monitoring access points and alarms, and supporting a welcoming environment. The role calls for customer service, clear communication, and calm, reliable responses to security concerns. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, at a rate of $23.00 per hour. Applicants must be at least 21 and have a high school diploma or equivalent, as well as at least two years of security-related experience. Employment is subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing may be required under applicable state or local rules; a valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
- Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations by following established site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the business interior, exterior, parking areas, and perimeter.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and document observations, incidents, and patrol activity.
- Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and emergency responders, escalating security concerns to appropriate contacts.
