About The Position

The Hilton Milwaukee is seeking a part-time Security Associate to help provide a safe and comfortable environment for guests and associates. The role involves identifying suspicious behavior, preventing vandalism, theft, and other unlawful conduct, and de-escalating conflicts. The associate supports security, safety, and loss-prevention operations at the hotel and assists guests and associates as needed. The position is hourly and has morning-shift availability, including weekends and holidays.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with department management, staff, personnel, and the general public.
• Must be dependable and reliable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, with others as a team player, and under pressure.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of security and law enforcement practices.
• Prior hospitality, guest service, and/or security experience.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the premises on foot to maintain safety for guests and associates and protect property and assets.
• Operate the dispatch center, including key control, fire alarm monitoring, closed-circuit television monitoring, answering routine and emergency calls for service, and dispatching calls for service.
• Perform proactive and professional security, safety, and loss-prevention practices.
• Investigate situations and conditions and write reports as necessary.
• Meet, greet, and assist guests and associates in a professional and calm manner.
• Witness cash drops, monitor cameras, and perform lost-and-found functions.
• Transport guests in company vehicles to and from locations such as airports, local offices, and entertainment venues.
• Assist in other areas as needed.
