About The Position

HGV is hiring a full-time Security Associate at The Fountains Resort in Orlando, Florida. The role is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of resort owners, guests, and Team Members. The position involves responding to emergencies, patrolling the property, coordinating alarm systems, maintaining records, and investigating and documenting security and safety incidents.

Requirements

Ability to patrol the property for 8–9 hours at a time.
Ability to greet and work with guests in a friendly and helpful manner.
Ability to work various shifts throughout the week.
Previous experience in a customer-service-focused security position.
Previous computer experience.
Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills for preparing incident reports.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience working in a hotel.
Military or law enforcement background.
Current First Aid/CPR certifications.

Responsibilities

Quickly respond to emergencies, including fires, safety hazards, and threats to life or property.
Patrol the interior and perimeter of the property to identify potential safety or security risks and undesirable conditions.
Coordinate alarm systems.
Maintain inspection reports and records.
Investigate security incidents, accidents, suspicious activities, safety hazards, and fire hazards; prepare complete reports that include statements from involved parties and witnesses.
Perform other duties as assigned by the leader.
