About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Account Manager to lead daily security operations and help ensure the safety and well-being of the people and places they protect. The role leads, develops, and motivates security officers and supervisors to deliver high-quality service. The Account Manager manages staffing and scheduling, client relationships, security incidents, compliance, training, site standards, payroll, employee relations, and operational costs. The listed starting salary is $93,787.20 per year. The ideal candidate has previous supervisory experience in the security industry.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Meet applicable licensing requirements, which may be required before employment depending on state and local laws.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company vehicle or personal vehicle for business.
• At least two years of experience in business operations, security management, or supervising teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience leading, developing, and retaining a dynamic team while building positive client relationships.
• Knowledge of emergency preparedness, physical security protocols, risk assessments, and law enforcement coordination.
• Ability to evaluate situations, make sound independent decisions, and resolve conflicts efficiently.
• Proficiency with web-based applications and computer systems, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and employees while managing multiple projects and driving operational excellence.
• Financial acumen and ability to manage staffing levels, minimize non-billed overtime, manage turnover costs, and control inventory costs through planning and organization.

Nice To Haves

• College degree in Business Administration or a law enforcement-related field.
• Law enforcement, military, contract or proprietary security services, or facility management experience.
• American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS) Certified Protection Professional (CPP) certification.
• Previous payroll, billing, or scheduling experience.
• Aptitude with security systems, including CCTV, access control, and badge administration.
• Graduate of a certified public safety academy, such as law enforcement, firefighter/paramedic, or corrections officer.

Responsibilities

• Use AI-powered technology to schedule security officers, meet client contract hours, and minimize unbilled overtime.
• Hire, coach, and manage security officers and supervisors, overseeing payroll, performance, and employee relations.
• Serve as the primary client contact and ensure high-quality service that protects people and property.
• Respond professionally to escalated security issues and emergencies, coordinating with clients and internal teams.
• Oversee training, safety, site operational standards, and inventory such as uniforms, equipment, and other essential supplies.
