About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Account Manager to lead daily security operations and help ensure the safety and well-being of the people and places protected. The Account Manager guides, develops, and motivates security officers and supervisors to deliver high-quality service, maintain client relationships, and support operational excellence. The role involves managing schedules using AI-powered technology to meet client contract hours while minimizing unbilled overtime; hiring, coaching, and managing security staff; overseeing payroll, performance, employee relations, training, safety, site standards, and supplies; serving as the primary client contact; and responding to escalated incidents and emergencies. The listed annual salary is $55,972. Benefits are offered to full-time employees.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
Valid driver’s license if driving a company vehicle or a personal vehicle while conducting business.
At least two years of experience in business operations, security management, or supervising teams in a fast-paced environment.
Experience leading, developing, and retaining a dynamic team while building positive client relationships.
Knowledge of emergency preparedness, physical security protocols, risk assessments, and law enforcement coordination.
Ability to evaluate situations, make sound independent decisions, and resolve conflicts efficiently.
Proficiency with web-based applications and computer systems, including Microsoft Office.
Ability to communicate effectively with clients and employees while managing multiple projects and driving operational excellence.
Financial acumen, planning, and organizational skills to manage staffing, minimize non-billed overtime, manage turnover costs, and control inventory costs.

Nice To Haves

College degree in Business Administration or a law enforcement-related field.
Law enforcement, military, contract or proprietary security services, or facility management experience.
American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS) Certified Protection Professional (CPP) certification.
Previous payroll, billing, or scheduling experience.
Aptitude with security systems, including CCTV, access control, and badge administration.
Graduate of a certified public safety academy, such as Law Enforcement, Firefighter/Paramedic, or Corrections Officer.

Responsibilities

Use AI-powered technology to schedule security officers, meet client contract hours, and minimize unbilled overtime.
Hire, coach, develop, and manage security officers and supervisors; oversee payroll, performance, and employee relations.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and ensure high-quality service that protects people and property.
Respond professionally to escalated security incidents and emergencies, coordinating with clients and internal teams.
Oversee training, safety, and site operational standards.
Manage inventory, including uniforms, equipment, and other essential supplies.
Manage staffing levels and costs, including non-billed overtime and turnover costs.
