About The Position

OnTrac is hiring a Seasonal Warehouse Associate, also described as a Seasonal Package Handler, to help move holiday packages through its Madison warehouse. No previous warehouse experience is required; training is provided. The work is active and hands-on, involving unloading, sorting, moving, and loading packages alongside a team. The role pays $18.00 per hour, with weekly pay, potential seasonal bonus eligibility, and premium pay for hours worked on New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. Overtime pay is provided in accordance with applicable law, and overtime may be required when business needs require it.

This is a seasonal part-time position running from October 27, 2026, through January 1, 2027, at 5525 Tradesman Dr. #200, Madison, WI 53718. The schedule is five days on and two days off, with shifts beginning at 5:00 AM and ending around 7:30 AM; typical shifts are approximately three hours, though end times may vary based on package volume and business needs. Weekend or holiday work may be needed. Seasonal employees may be considered for available permanent positions after the assignment ends, based on eligibility and availability; continued employment is not guaranteed.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Be dependable and available for scheduled shifts, including weekends or holidays when needed.
• Meet applicable pre-employment requirements, including a background check where permitted by law.
• Be able to work scheduled shifts, including overtime when business needs require.
• Be able to repeatedly lift packages as described in the posting.
• Be able to stand and/or walk for extended periods during scheduled shifts.
• Be able to frequently bend, twist, reach, push, pull, and squat while handling packages.
• Be able to perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Be able to work in hot or cold environments where warehouse temperature control may be limited.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload, sort, move, and load packages weighing up to 30–50 pounds independently.
• Participate in team lifts for packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Keep packages organized and moving safely and efficiently.
• Keep the work area organized and ready for work.
• Work with a team to help packages reach their next destination safely and on time.
