About The Position

The Seasonal Warehouse Associate / Package Handler helps move packages through the warehouse during the holiday rush. The work involves safely unloading, sorting, moving, and loading packages, keeping the workspace organized, and helping packages reach their next destination safely and on time. The role is located at 225 Glade View Dr NE, Roanoke, VA 24012, and pays $16.00 per hour. The season runs from 11/07/2026 to 01/01/2027. Shifts are Sunday through Wednesday and Friday, 5:00 AM to 8:30 AM or until the sort is complete; hours may vary based on business needs. “End of Sort” means completion of required sort work and cleanup activities as directed by site management. Overtime pay is provided in accordance with applicable law, and scheduled shifts may include overtime when business needs require.

This is a temporary seasonal position. Seasonal team members may be considered for available permanent positions after the assignment ends, subject to eligibility and availability; continued employment is not guaranteed. No previous warehouse experience is required, and training is provided.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Be dependable and available for scheduled shifts, including weekends or holidays when needed.
• Meet applicable pre-employment requirements, including a background check where permitted by law.
• Be able to repeatedly lift packages as described in the posting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Be able to stand, walk, bend, lift, reach, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Be able to work in varying warehouse temperatures, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Be able to work scheduled shifts, including overtime when business needs require.
• No previous warehouse experience is required; training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload, sort, move, and load packages weighing up to 30–50 pounds independently throughout the shift.
• Participate in team lifts for packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Stand and/or walk for extended periods during scheduled shifts.
• Frequently bend, twist, reach, push, pull, and squat while handling packages.
• Keep the workspace organized and ready for work.
• Help packages reach their next destination safely and on time.
