About The Position

Temco Logistics is seeking a hardworking and detail-oriented Warehouse Clerk to help ensure customer orders are accurately prepared, checked for quality, and staged for delivery on time. The role calls for a proactive approach, physical stamina, and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The Warehouse Clerk collects and reviews order notes, picks and inspects items, prepares them for staging or loading, and moves inventory between storage, docking, and route areas. The position also includes general warehouse duties and reporting discrepancies or damaged products to supervisors. The role is based onsite in Roanoke, Virginia, and is full time, with a listed hourly pay range of $17.00 to $18.00.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in order pulling or a similar warehouse role.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment, including forklifts and clamps.
• Familiarity with handheld devices or RF scanners, or willingness to learn.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to detect order discrepancies.
• Physical stamina to work in a fast-paced environment and lift or move heavy items as required.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift and clamp certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect and review order notes to accurately fulfill deliveries.
• Pick ordered items from containers and storage using barcodes, serial numbers, and other identifying information.
• Securely shrink-wrap items before staging or loading them for delivery.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles, including trucks, vans, and containers.
• Transport pulled items from storage containers to shipment or staging areas using forklifts, clamps, or dollies.
• Move units from the docking area to their assigned route areas.
• Inspect products for quality and damage and ensure items meet company standards.
• Report discrepancies or damaged items to supervisors immediately.
• Perform general warehouse duties, including maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
