About The Position

OnTrac is hiring a seasonal Warehouse Associate / Package Handler at its Romulus, Michigan facility. The role helps manage holiday package volume by safely unloading, sorting, moving, and loading packages, and keeping the workspace organized. No previous warehouse experience is required; training is provided.

The position pays $17.00 per hour and is eligible for overtime pay under applicable law. Shifts run from 3:00 AM to 8:30 AM or until the end of sort, on variable days for approximately four to five days per week and 22–28 hours total. Hours may vary with business needs. The seasonal assignment is scheduled from October 27, 2026, through January 1, 2027. A seasonal bonus of $500 is advertised, subject to eligibility, amount, payment requirements, and other terms that may vary by location and assignment. Continued employment after the season is not guaranteed, though team members may be considered for available permanent positions based on eligibility and availability.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Be dependable and available for scheduled shifts, including weekends or holidays when needed.
• Meet applicable pre-employment requirements, including a background check where permitted by law.
• Be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to repeatedly lift packages as described in the posting and perform standing, walking, bending, lifting, reaching, and repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Be able to work in varying warehouse temperatures and work scheduled shifts, including overtime when business needs require.
• No previous warehouse experience is required; training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload, sort, move, and load packages weighing up to 30–50 pounds independently throughout the shift.
• Participate in team lifts for packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Stand and/or walk for extended periods during scheduled shifts.
• Frequently bend, twist, reach, push, pull, and squat while handling packages.
• Work in warehouse environments that may be hot or cold because temperature-control capabilities may be limited.
• Keep the workspace organized and ready for work.
• Help packages reach their next destination safely and on time.
