About The Position

Guitar Center’s Seasonal Support serves as the face of the store, greeting customers, understanding their needs, recommending suitable products, and helping close sales. The role supports Guitar Center’s mission to encourage creativity and help people experience the joy of making music, while contributing to an inclusive, customer-first environment. The successful candidate provides excellent customer service, builds product and sales knowledge through training and continuing education, and helps keep the store ready for business. Responsibilities also include meeting service sales targets, maintaining product displays, building customer relationships to support future service needs, and completing other assigned duties.

Requirements

Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Strong orientation toward providing excellent customer service.
High attention to detail.

Intermediate knowledge of musical instruments sold at Guitar Center, such as guitars, drums, and technology products.

Responsibilities

Reach sales targets on services.
Demonstrate product and service knowledge to customers.
Assist customers and guide them through the sales process.
Continue learning through onboarding, certification, and continuing education.
Assist with tasks needed to ensure the store is ready to conduct business and serve customers.
Monitor inventory levels and replenish displays as needed.
Build relationships with customers to fulfill future service needs.
Complete additional duties as assigned.
