About The Position

All Store Team Members help build the company brand by delivering excellent customer service. This role maximizes product inventory and supports online business operations to create a positive shopping experience. Although merchandising is the primary focus, the associate may also be assigned sales, front-end, or other duties as needed. Internally, the position is referred to as Merchandiser and reports to the store management team. This is a short-term seasonal position lasting no longer than six months; team members may apply for a non-seasonal role. The role includes receiving, organizing, distributing, pulling, and stocking inventory; building displays and end caps; placing signage; and supporting digital orders, in-store and curbside pickup, and delivery services when assigned. The associate provides personalized customer service, participates in beverage product training, maintains knowledge of promotions and loyalty programs, and helps maintain store safety, cleanliness, and compliance with alcohol-sale laws and regulations. The position requires being at least 21 years old, frequent walking and bending, standing for 8–10 hours a day, safely handling cases and pallets, climbing ladders, and repeatedly lifting up to 50 pounds overhead. The associate may be exposed to outdoor weather conditions during the workday. A flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, is required as business needs dictate.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends.
Ability to walk, bend repeatedly, and remain on feet for 8–10 hours a day.
Ability to safely lift, load, and handle cases and pallets; climb ladders; and repeatedly lift 50 pounds overhead.
Ability to work with possible exposure to various outdoor weather conditions throughout the workday.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
1–3 years of experience; 1+ years of experience in a retail setting preferred.
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.

Responsibilities

Process freight; organize, distribute, pull, and stock merchandise; build displays and end caps; and place signage.
Support digital business operations by fulfilling orders and assisting with in-store and curbside pickup and delivery services, including driving and making deliveries if assigned.
Greet customers, build relationships, provide personalized service, and inform customers about products and services.
Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
Maintain store safety and cleanliness standards.
Follow applicable alcohol-sale laws and regulations and help maintain a safe, compliant store environment.
Complete cross-functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
If delivery is an essential job function, load and deliver orders safely and professionally in accordance with company policies, procedures, and traffic and safety laws.
