About The Position

The B-Helpful Professional is an energetic, engaged resource for customers and associates throughout the store. The role supports Bloomingdale’s goal of creating an easy and enjoyable shopping experience through speed, attention to detail, collaboration, and teamwork. The associate manages an in-store service hub, helping customers with Buy Online Pick-up in Store orders, straightforward returns, tourism information, and booking appointments for in-store services.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and share information with diverse groups of customers and peers.
• Resourcefulness and the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
• Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
• Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, and stoop; color vision may be involved.
• Ability to frequently lift or move up to 25 pounds.
• Frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, and ability to process register transactions.
