Seasonal Selling Associate (FOH)
About The Position
Neiman Marcus is hiring a Seasonal Selling Associate to support the selling team and enhance the client experience during the holiday season. The associate welcomes clients at store entrances and in departments, connects them with the appropriate associate based on their service needs, and works in different store areas according to business needs. The role also supports efficient point-of-sale transactions, customer follow-up, escalated issues, pickup and alteration services, fitting rooms, and other services that improve the client experience. The position reports to a Sales Manager. The role requires at least one year of customer-centric experience with a demonstrated ability to sell products and services, familiarity with retail and mobile technologies, and availability for a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays. The listed salary range is $17.90–$22.39; actual starting pay varies based on work location, experience, and other job-related factors.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in customer-centric roles, with a proven ability to sell products and services.
- Familiarity with and ability to use retail and mobile technologies.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Welcome clients at store entrances and within store departments, then transition them to an appropriate associate based on their service needs.
- Serve in different areas of the store according to business needs.
- Process point-of-sale transactions as needed.
- Handle escalated issues graciously and efficiently by connecting customers with a management team member.
- Follow up on customer requests, questions, and needs.
- Support BOPIS and curbside pickup, as well as online alterations and alteration pickups, in partnership with the Operations team and Managers on Duty.
- Support fitting room experiences when needed.
- Enhance the client experience by introducing services such as alterations, personalization, food or beverage, package carry-out, or delivery.
