Seasonal Sales Associate - New Orleans
About The Position
Tecovas is hiring a Seasonal Sales Associate to support the store leadership team and provide an exceptional customer experience for first-time boot buyers and Western enthusiasts. The role includes greeting and assisting customers, selling products, sharing product knowledge, operating the cash wrap, restocking, and general shopkeeping. Associates are expected to provide outstanding service and demonstrate strong product knowledge during high-volume periods. This temporary role is expected to start in late September 2026 and may continue through early January 2027. Permanent Sales Associate opportunities may become available after the season, depending on individual performance and business needs. Flexible scheduling is required, including extended holiday hours, early mornings, evenings, weekends, and key holiday periods.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and reach overhead, bend, squat, and kneel while organizing and stocking inventory.
- Able to lift up to 30 pounds regularly.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be available to work weekends, including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, as well as evenings and holidays as needed.
- Ability to deliver excellent customer service.

Responsibilities
- Support a sales-driven environment focused on genuine customer experiences and extraordinary service standards.
- Help the store team receive shipments and prepare products for the sales floor.
- Plan, track, and communicate in-transit shipment information to the leadership team.
- Perform customer customizations after receiving hands-on training.
- Maintain an efficient, well-organized stockroom that is accessible to employees.
- Assist with or lead restocking to maintain store inventory levels.
- Demonstrate loss-prevention awareness by assisting with cycle counts and transfers.
- Participate in ongoing staff education and share product knowledge.
- Assist with maintaining the building facilities.
