About The Position

Quality Labor Management (QLM) is hiring experienced Commercial Electricians in the New Orleans area. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial settings. QLM describes opportunities for growth and advancement in the electrical trade. The listed pay range is $26–$32 per hour; apprentice rates are $20–$26 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend work. Requirements

Proficiency with electrical tools, testing equipment, and safety practices.
Proficiency in hand-bending conduit accurately and efficiently.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Experience as an experienced commercial electrician is requested.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, conduits, fixtures, and equipment in commercial settings.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to determine electrical layouts.
Test and troubleshoot electrical systems to identify issues and implement solutions.
Ensure electrical work meets National Electrical Code (NEC) standards, company policies, and job-site safety requirements.
Collaborate with supervisors, project managers, and other trades to support timely project completion.
Maintain tools and equipment and keep the work environment clean.
