About The Position

Tecovas is seeking a Sales Associate to support the store leadership team and help create an exceptional customer experience for first-time boot buyers and Western enthusiasts. The role provides service throughout the sales floor, including greeting customers, selling, sharing product knowledge, handling transactions, restocking, and general shopkeeping. Associates also help deliver premium product services, manage inventory and shipments, maintain the stockroom, support loss prevention, participate in staff education, and assist with building maintenance.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods and reach overhead, bend, squat, and kneel while organizing and stocking inventory.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds regularly.
• Ability to deliver excellent customer service.
• Must be able to reliably commute to and from the work location.
• Must be available to work 15–20 hours per week.
• Must be available to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday), evenings, and holidays as needed.
• Exceptional selling skills, customer service, and clientele skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Independent, proactive, results-driven work ethic.
• High character, honesty, and transparency.

Responsibilities

• Support a sales-driven environment focused on genuine customer experiences and exceptional service.
• Provide product services such as branding, debossing, boot stretching, brim shaping, and boot shines, with attention to detail.
• Help receive shipments and prepare products for placement on the sales floor.
• Plan, track, and communicate in-transit shipment information to the leadership team.
• Maintain an efficient, well-organized stockroom accessible to employees.
• Assist with or lead restocking to maintain store inventory levels.
• Demonstrate loss-prevention awareness by assisting with cycle counts and transfers.
• Participate in ongoing staff education and share product knowledge.
• Assist with maintaining building facilities.
• Greet and assist customers, sell products, handle cash wrap activities, restock, and perform general shopkeeping.
