About The Position

The Seasonal Sales Associate (Brick Specialist) joins the LEGO Brand Retail team at Westfield UTC in San Diego, California, providing inspirational guest experiences in an interactive store environment. The role focuses on welcoming guests, completing register transactions, maintaining an appealing and safe store, and supporting stockroom operations in line with LEGO Brand Retail standards. The position is seasonal and part-time, expected to last until January 10, 2027, subject to change based on business needs. There is potential for the role to become permanent for excellent performers.

The associate must provide availability for up to 25 hours per week across at least three days, including at least one weekend day; this is an availability requirement and does not guarantee scheduled hours. The role requires working varied hours, including days, nights, and weekends as business needs dictate, and involves frequent movement and standing, occasional ladder climbing and other physical tasks, and lifting at least 30 pounds.

Requirements

• Communicate effectively with team members and guests.
• Process information and merchandise through the register system.
• Provide availability for up to 25 hours per week over at least three days, including at least one weekend day.
• Be able to access all store areas, including the sales floor, stock areas, register areas, and loading dock.
• Be able to move, talk, hear, reach, grab, and stand for at least two consecutive hours; occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb ladders; and lift at least 30 pounds.
• Have close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and deliver a professional, gracious, friendly, and engaging experience.
• Perform cash register functions and process information and merchandise through the register system.
• Perform daily cleaning duties and maintain clean, safe, and visually stimulating store displays in accordance with LEGO Brand Retail visual standards.
• Assist with receiving merchandise and safely and efficiently operate and maintain the stockroom to LEGO Brand Retail standards.
• Follow safety regulations and notify management of potential shortage situations.
• Communicate effectively with team members and guests.
• Work varied hours, days, nights, and weekends as business needs dictate.
