Seasonal Sales Associate (Brick Specialist)
About The Position
The Seasonal Sales Associate (Brick Specialist) joins the LEGO Brand Retail team at the Sawgrass Mills store in Sunrise, Florida, on a seasonal, part-time basis. The role focuses on delivering inspirational, engaging experiences to LEGO guests of all ages in an interactive store environment. Associates greet guests, perform register functions, maintain a clean and visually stimulating store, and help receive merchandise and maintain the stockroom. Tasks are assigned by the floor leader on duty. The posting notes that the role may become regular for excellent performers.
Requirements
- Communicate effectively with team members and guests.
- Process information and merchandise through the register system.
- Work various hours, days, nights, and weekends as business dictates.
- Freely access all areas of the store, including the sales floor, stock areas, register areas, and loading dock area.
- Be able to move, talk, hear, reach, grab, and stand for at least two consecutive hours.
- May need to stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb ladders; the role requires close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Be able to lift at least 30 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests and create a signature LEGO store experience through professional, gracious, friendly, and engaging interactions.
- Perform cash register functions and process information and merchandise through the register system.
- Perform daily cleaning duties and maintain a clean, safe, and visually stimulating store environment.
- Maintain store displays and learn and execute LEGO Brand Retail visual standards.
- Assist with receiving merchandise and safely and efficiently operate and maintain the stockroom to LEGO Brand Retail standards.
- Follow safety regulations and notify management of potential shortage situations.
- Communicate effectively with team members and guests.
