About The Position

The Seasonal Sales Associate, also called a Brick Specialist, joins the LEGO Brand Retail team at Woodfield Mall in Illinois on a seasonal, part-time basis. The role delivers inspirational retail experiences to LEGO fans in an interactive store environment by providing friendly, engaging guest service, processing transactions, maintaining store presentation and cleanliness, and supporting safe and efficient stockroom operations. The posting notes that the seasonal role could become a regular role for excellent performers.

Requirements

• Communicate effectively with team members and guests.
• Process information and merchandise through the register system.
• Work various hours, days, nights, and weekends as business dictates.
• Freely access all areas of the store, including the sales floor, stock areas, register areas, and loading dock.
• Meet the physical demands of constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing, and standing for at least two consecutive hours; occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, and ladder climbing; close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus; and lifting at least 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide fun, meaningful interactions that exceed expectations.
• Perform all cash register functions and process information and merchandise through the register system.
• Maintain a professional, gracious, friendly, and engaging manner with guests.
• Perform daily cleaning duties and maintain store displays.
• Learn and execute LEGO Brand Retail visual standards.
• Assist with receiving merchandise and maintain the stockroom to LEGO Brand Retail standards.
• Follow safety regulations and notify management of potential shortage situations.
• Communicate effectively with team members and guests.
