About The Position

Join the LEGO Brand Retail team as a seasonal, part-time Brick Specialist at Lakeside Mall in Metairie, Louisiana. The role provides inspirational guest experiences in an interactive store environment and supports the LEGO Group’s mission to inspire and develop the builders of tomorrow. You will welcome guests, operate the register, maintain store presentation and cleanliness, and support stockroom operations. Tasks are assigned by the floor leader on duty. The posting notes that the position may become a regular role for excellent performers.

Requirements

• Communicate effectively with team members and guests.
• Process information and merchandise through the register system.
• Freely access all areas of the store, including the sales floor, stock areas, register areas, and loading dock area.
• Meet the stated physical demands, including standing for at least two consecutive hours and lifting at least 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide a professional, gracious, friendly, and engaging experience.
• Perform all cash register functions and process information and merchandise through the register system.
• Perform daily cleaning duties and maintain a clean, safe, and visually stimulating store environment.
• Maintain store displays and learn and execute LEGO Brand Retail visual standards.
• Assist with receiving merchandise and safely and efficiently operate and maintain the stockroom to LEGO Brand Retail standards.
• Follow safety regulations and notify management of potential shortage situations.
• Communicate effectively with team members and guests.
• Work various hours, days, nights, and weekends as business dictates.
