Seasonal Sales Associate - Town Square
About The Position
Tecovas is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to support store leadership and help create an exceptional customer experience for first-time boot buyers and western enthusiasts. The role provides customer service across the sales floor, including greeting customers, selling, sharing product knowledge, operating the cash wrap, restocking, and general shopkeeping. Associates are expected to deliver outstanding service and demonstrate strong product knowledge during high-volume periods. This is a temporary seasonal role expected to start in late September 2026 and last through early January 2027. Permanent Sales Associate opportunities may become available after the season, depending on individual performance and business needs. Scheduling must be flexible and include extended holiday hours, which may involve early mornings, evenings, weekends, and key holiday periods.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Exceptional selling skills, customer service, and clientele.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Independent, proactive, results-driven work ethic.
- Character, honesty, and transparency.
- Ability to deliver excellent customer service.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and reach overhead, bend, squat, and kneel while organizing and stocking inventory.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly.
- Reliable transportation.
- Must be available to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday), evenings, and holidays as needed.
- Flexible scheduling availability for extended holiday hours and specified holiday periods.
Responsibilities
- Support a sales-driven environment focused on genuine customer experiences and extraordinary service standards.
- Support the store team with receiving shipments and preparing products for floor placement.
- Plan, track, and communicate in-transit shipment information to the leadership team.
- Maintain an efficient, organized stockroom that is accessible to employees.
- Assist with or lead restocking to maintain store inventory levels.
- Demonstrate loss-prevention awareness by assisting with cycle counts and transfers.
- Participate in ongoing staff education and share product knowledge.
- Assist with maintaining building facilities.
- Provide customer service on the sales floor, including greeting customers, selling, product knowledge, cash wrap, restocking, and shopkeeping.
