About The Position

A Seasonal Sales Associate contributes to driving sales by maintaining organized product flow, helping ring customer transactions as a cashier, and providing a genuine experience to each customer throughout the sales floor. The role supports customer service, teamwork, visual standards, and store operations at Reclectic in Gurnee, Illinois.

Requirements

Experience in customer service.
Experience being a team player.
Ability to work flexible hours to meet store needs, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to lift and carry heavy boxes and furniture.

Responsibilities

Initiate conversations with customers as they enter the store and inform them of current promotions.
Support a selling environment throughout the sales floor by connecting with multiple customers, sharing product information, and helping maintain a clean, well-kept store.
Process customer sales accurately and efficiently as a cashier.
Contribute positively, respectfully, and helpfully to the store team.
Collaborate with peers and leadership, share ideas, and support the needs of the team.
Learn and adapt, remain flexible to change, and be open to trying new ways of doing things.
Be timely and accountable for scheduled shifts to support a well-staffed environment.
Maintain visual and operational standards while keeping the focus on customers.
Support processing shipments, tagging, staging, and placing new products.
Follow store safety standards, maintain inventory accuracy, help reduce product loss, and uphold company policies and procedures.
