About The Position
A Sales Associate contributes to driving sales by maintaining organized product flow, assisting with customer transactions as a cashier, and providing a genuine customer experience throughout the sales floor. The role supports customer engagement, teamwork, visual and operational standards, shipment processing, and store safety and inventory procedures.
Requirements
- Experience in customer service.
- Experience being a team player.
- Ability to work flexible hours to meet store needs, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy boxes and furniture.
Responsibilities
- Initiate conversations with customers as they enter the store and inform them of current promotions.
- Support a selling environment throughout the sales floor by engaging with multiple customers, sharing product information, and maintaining a clean, well-kept store.
- Process customer sales accurately and efficiently as a cashier.
- Contribute positively to the store by being respectful and helpful to others.
- Collaborate with peers and leadership, share ideas, and support team needs.
- Learn and adapt, remain flexible to change, and be open to new ways of working.
- Be timely and accountable for scheduled shifts to support a well-staffed, positive environment.
- Maintain visual and operational standards while keeping the focus on the customer.
- Support shipment processing, tagging, staging, and placement of new products.
- Follow store safety standards, maintain inventory accuracy, help reduce product loss, and uphold company policies and procedures.
