About The Position

The Sales Associate contributes to driving store sales by maintaining organized product flow, assisting with customer transactions as a cashier, and providing customers with a genuine experience throughout the sales floor. This position is located at 6170 W Grand Ave, Gurnee, Illinois, 60031. The role supports customer engagement, teamwork, and store visual and operational standards. It includes helping process and present new merchandise, maintaining a clean and well-kept store, and following safety, inventory, loss-prevention, and company policies.

Requirements

Experience in customer service.
Experience being a team player.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to meet store needs.
Ability to lift and carry heavy boxes and furniture.

Responsibilities

Initiate conversations with customers as they enter the store and inform them of current promotions.
Support a selling environment across the sales floor by engaging with multiple customers, sharing product information, and helping maintain a clean, well-kept store.
Process customer sales accurately and efficiently as a cashier.
Contribute to a positive, respectful, and helpful team environment.
Collaborate with peers and leadership, share ideas, and support team needs.
Remain willing to learn and adapt, flexible to change, and open to trying new approaches.
Be timely and accountable to scheduled shifts to support a well-staffed, positive environment.
Maintain visual and operational standards while keeping the focus on the customer.
Support shipment processing, tagging, staging, and placement of new products.
Follow store safety standards, maintain inventory accuracy, help reduce product loss, and uphold company policies and procedures.
