About The Position

POP MART is seeking enthusiastic, customer-focused Seasonal Sales Associates to support its Universal City retail store during the holiday shopping season. Associates serve as brand ambassadors, create memorable shopping experiences, share knowledge and excitement about POP MART characters and collectibles, and help customers find products they enjoy. They work with the retail team to support daily store operations, maintain an engaging shopping environment, and provide exceptional service during a busy seasonal period.

This is a temporary seasonal position intended to support increased business during the holiday shopping period. Employment is expected to end when the designated seasonal period concludes, though business needs may result in an earlier or later end date. Continued employment may be considered based on business needs, performance, and available positions but is not guaranteed. The position is temporary, seasonal, non-exempt, and eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable laws. The fixed hourly rate is $18.47 and is not negotiable based on individual experience or qualifications.

The role involves working on the sales floor, in the stockroom, and in receiving areas. Physical duties include frequently moving merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds; standing and walking for typically 6–8 hours per shift; bending, kneeling, squatting, reaching overhead, and safely using ladders or step stools; and performing repetitive stocking, unpacking, pricing, and inventory organization tasks. Associates use standard retail equipment and stockroom tools, including handheld scanners, box cutters, and ladders.

Responsibilities

• Greet shoppers, build genuine connections, and provide friendly, knowledgeable service.
• Share product knowledge, character stories, and enthusiasm for POP MART collectible art toys.
• Make personalized product recommendations and engage thoughtfully with customers.
• Support store sales goals by promoting key products, new releases, Blind Boxes, MEGA collectibles, and accessories.
• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems.
• Keep the store clean, organized, and visually appealing in accordance with brand standards.
• Assist with merchandising, product replenishment, shipment processing, and stockroom organization.
• Support inventory accuracy and follow merchandise-handling and loss-prevention procedures.
• Help manage customer traffic, lines, and product launches while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
• Collaborate with store leadership and teammates to meet daily operational needs, particularly during peak holiday periods.
• Perform assigned tasks in sales-floor, stockroom, and receiving areas, including stocking, unpacking shipments, pricing products, and organizing inventory.
