About The Position

CityVet Universal City & Urgent Care is hiring an Associate Veterinarian to provide general practice and urgent care services in a collaborative, well-supported environment. The position offers a varied caseload, including preventative care, same-day urgent cases, complex cases, dentistry, and advanced surgeries. The role is primarily designed for a veterinarian interested in both general practice and urgent care, though candidates interested in focusing solely on urgent care are also welcome. Flexible scheduling is available, and the employer will consider part-time or full-time candidates. The hospital has four exam rooms, a large treatment area, and a private surgical suite. On-site capabilities include echocardiograms and full abdominal ultrasounds with interpretation, performed by trained sonographers. Equipment includes ultrasound, digital dental radiographs, Abaxis analyzers, Imagyst, and a therapeutic laser. Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent.
Licensed to practice in the state or eligible for licensure.
Collaborative spirit and commitment to exceptional patient care.
Interest in general practice and/or urgent care medicine.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality medical care to pets and build lasting relationships with their owners.
Deliver general practice and/or urgent care services, including care for preventative and same-day urgent cases.
Manage complex cases and contribute to surgical and dental care as appropriate to the role.
