About The Position

POP MART is seeking an enthusiastic, customer-focused Seasonal Sales Associate to support the store during the holiday shopping period. The role serves as a brand ambassador, creating memorable shopping experiences and helping customers discover POP MART characters and collectible art toys. Associates work with the retail team to support daily store operations, maintain an engaging shopping environment, and deliver exceptional customer service during a busy season.

This is a temporary seasonal position intended to support increased business needs during the holiday period. Employment is expected to conclude at the end of the designated seasonal period, though business needs may result in an earlier or later end date. Continued employment may be considered based on business needs, performance, and available positions, but is not guaranteed. The position is classified as non-exempt and is eligible for overtime pay under applicable law. The fixed hourly rate is $14.50 and is not subject to negotiation based on individual experience or qualifications.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Strong customer service skills and an interest in creating positive shopping experiences.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to engage customers from diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-energy retail environment.

• Ability to learn product information, point-of-sale systems, and retail operating procedures.

• Flexible availability for mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak shopping periods, based on store scheduling needs.
• Ability to perform essential job responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, or move merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, typically 6–8 hours per shift.
• Ability to frequently bend, kneel, squat, reach overhead, and safely use ladders or step stools.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as stocking merchandise, unpacking shipments, pricing products, and organizing inventory.
• Ability to work efficiently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced retail environment.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in retail, hospitality, entertainment, or another customer-facing environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Interest in designer toys, collectibles, art, anime, gaming, fashion, or pop culture.
• Familiarity with POP MART characters, products, and the collectible toy community.
• Experience using point-of-sale systems, handling merchandise, or supporting inventory operations.
• Bilingual or multilingual communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet shoppers, build genuine connections, and provide friendly, knowledgeable service.
• Share product knowledge and character stories to bring the POP MART brand to life.
• Recommend products and engage thoughtfully with customers to help them find items they will enjoy.
• Support store sales goals by promoting key products, new releases, Blind Boxes, MEGA collectibles, and accessories.
• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems.
• Maintain a clean, organized, visually appealing store that reflects brand standards.
• Assist with merchandising, product replenishment, shipment processing, and stockroom organization.
• Support inventory accuracy and follow merchandise-handling and loss-prevention procedures.
• Help manage customer traffic, lines, and product launches while maintaining a safe, welcoming environment.
• Work with store leadership and team members to meet daily operational needs, particularly during peak holiday periods.
