About The Position

POP MART is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to support the store during the holiday shopping period. The role is a temporary seasonal position intended to meet increased business needs; employment is expected to end with the designated seasonal period, though the end date may vary based on business needs. Continued employment may be considered but is not guaranteed.

The Seasonal Sales Associate serves as a brand ambassador, helping create memorable customer experiences and sharing information and enthusiasm about POP MART characters and collectible products. The associate works with the retail team to support store operations, sales, merchandising, inventory, and a safe, welcoming shopping environment. The position is based in Canoga Park, California, and pays a fixed rate of $19.00 per hour. It is classified as non-exempt and eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable law.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, or move merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds; stand and walk for extended periods, typically 6–8 hours per shift; and frequently bend, kneel, squat, reach overhead, and safely use ladders or step stools.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks and work efficiently while managing multiple priorities.
• Ability to operate standard retail equipment and stockroom tools, including handheld scanners, box cutters, and ladders, and to work in sales-floor, stockroom, and receiving-area environments.

• Familiarity with POP MART characters, products, and the collectible toy community.

Responsibilities

• Greet shoppers, build genuine connections, and provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service.
• Share product knowledge, character stories, and enthusiasm for POP MART collectible art toys.
• Recommend products and engage with customers to help them find items they will enjoy.
• Support store sales goals by promoting key products, new releases, Blind Boxes, MEGA collectibles, and accessories.
• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems.
• Keep the store clean, organized, and visually appealing in accordance with brand standards.
• Assist with merchandising, product replenishment, shipment processing, and stockroom organization.
• Support inventory accuracy and follow merchandise-handling and loss-prevention procedures.
• Help manage customer traffic, lines, and product launches while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
• Collaborate with store leadership and team members to meet daily operational needs, particularly during peak holiday shopping periods.
• Perform physical and stockroom tasks, including lifting or moving merchandise, stocking, unpacking shipments, pricing products, and organizing inventory.
