About The Position

Tecovas is hiring a Seasonal Sales Associate to support the store leadership team and create an exceptional customer experience for first-time boot buyers and Western enthusiasts. The role includes serving customers across the sales floor, sharing product knowledge, handling transactions, restocking merchandise, and maintaining the shop. Seasonal Sales Associates help deliver outstanding service and product expertise during high-volume periods.

This is a temporary seasonal role expected to start in late September 2026 and continue through early January 2027. Permanent Sales Associate opportunities may become available after the season, depending on individual performance and business needs. Scheduling must be flexible for extended holiday hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and key holiday periods. The position pays $16 per hour; actual compensation may vary based on skills, qualifications, and experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Exceptional selling skills, customer service, and clientele skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Independent, proactive, results-driven work ethic.
• High character, honesty, and transparency.
• Ability to deliver excellent customer service.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be available to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday), evenings, and holidays as needed, including specified holiday events and extended holiday hours.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods and reach overhead, bend, squat, and kneel while organizing and stocking inventory.
• Able to regularly lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Support a sales-driven environment focused on genuine customer experiences and extraordinary service standards.
• Help receive shipments and prepare products for the sales floor.
• Plan, track, and communicate in-transit shipment information to the leadership team.
• Perform customer customizations after receiving hands-on training.
• Keep the stockroom efficient, organized, and accessible to employees.
• Assist with or lead restocking to maintain store inventory levels.
• Demonstrate loss-prevention awareness by assisting with cycle counts and transfers.
• Participate in ongoing staff education and share product knowledge.
• Assist with maintaining the building facilities.
• Greet and serve customers, sell products, provide product knowledge, handle cash-wrap duties, restock, and support overall shopkeeping.
