About The Position

Harry & David is seeking Sales Associates to join its retail team. The role promotes sales through suggestive selling, product knowledge, and exceptional customer service. Sales Associates help maintain inventory stock levels, perform housekeeping duties, and assist with merchandising strategies. They contribute to the retail vision of inspiring passion for the brand through authentic engagement and service that delivers the Harry & David experience.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Top candidates will have retail experience providing exceptional customer service and performing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Drive store sales by following sales guidelines and procedures, sampling and selling products with passion and enthusiasm, and providing exceptional customer service.
Maintain product knowledge and stay informed about changes in the product assortment.
Assist with floor sets, pricing, signage, promotional activities, and other merchandising strategies according to company directives.
Participate in managing store inventory and expense items, including minimizing product waste.
Follow established policies, practices, and procedures, including quality, sanitation, and safety guidelines; comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws and maintain a safe work environment.
Foster the brand image and reputation through impeccable personal presentation and attitude.
Ring customer transactions using the POS system, actively sell add-ons at the cash wrap, and execute the Preferred Customer Program.
Follow proper cash handling procedures.
Pursue Business to Business sales opportunities in the community according to established procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
