Seasonal Cashier/Sales Associate
About The Position
The Seasonal Cashier/Sales Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The role follows operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. The associate serves customers at checkout, promotes credit and loyalty programs, processes merchandise, and supports merchandising, store recovery, cleanliness, safety, and shrink reduction. The associate contributes to a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect, and provides and accepts recognition and constructive feedback. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Engage and interact with customers to deliver a highly satisfied customer experience.
- Model customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
- Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Follow merchandising philosophy, procedures, and standards.
- Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
- Maintain organization, cleanliness, and recovery standards on the sales floor and help maintain the entire store.
- Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
- Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
- Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
