About The Position

The Seasonal Retail Stock role supports store logistics and customer order fulfillment. The ideal candidate is independent, motivated, results-oriented, and committed to providing outstanding customer experiences. Shifts may start as early as 1 a.m.

The position includes receiving and processing merchandise, fulfilling and shipping customer orders, using inventory management systems, maintaining organized selling floors and stockrooms, and providing general support to the store. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.

Requirements

• Be able to work a flexible schedule based on business needs.
• Meet the physical requirements of continuous movement for 6–8 hours per shift, frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, reaching, and hand use for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
• Be able to handle bulky and awkwardly shaped items, including reaching and lifting items above the head.
• Regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds; frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload freight, unpack merchandise, and deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling departments.
• Fulfill customer orders in a timely manner while following quality standards.
• Prepare and ship customer orders according to quality, packing, and shipping standards.
• Use inventory management systems to scan, process, and research merchandise shipments according to inventory control processes.
• Help maintain clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms.
• Provide general store support, including setting up special events, organizing the backroom, completing markdowns, and relocating store fixtures.
