About The Position

The Retail Stock & Fulfillment employee supports store logistics and customer order fulfillment. The role receives, unloads, unpacks, and delivers merchandise to selling departments; fulfills, prepares, and ships customer orders according to quality and handling standards; and uses inventory management systems to scan, process, and research merchandise shipments. The employee also helps keep selling floors and stockrooms clean and organized and provides general store support, including assisting with special events, backroom organization, markdowns, and relocating store fixtures. The ideal candidate is independent, motivated, results-oriented, and committed to outstanding customer experiences. The position requires ownership, initiative, organization, attention to detail, the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment, comfort with technology and new computer applications, and schedule flexibility based on business needs. This is a seasonal position at Nordstrom's Fashion Show location. The stated pay range is $17.35–$18.05 per hour. Performance-based incentives or bonuses may be available. Commission information is also included in the posting for certain selling roles, but is not specified as compensation for this position.

Responsibilities

Receive, unload, unpack, and deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling departments.
Fulfill customer orders promptly while following quality standards.
Prepare and ship customer orders according to quality, packing, and shipping standards.
Use inventory management systems to scan, process, and research merchandise shipments in accordance with inventory control processes.
Help maintain clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms.
Provide general store support, including setting up special events, organizing the backroom, completing markdowns, and relocating store fixtures.
