As a Seasonal Retail Selling Colleague, you combine results-driven selling with genuine hospitality to create standout holiday shopping experiences. You learn about customers’ needs, offer personalized recommendations, and connect them with suitable products and services. Through warmth, product knowledge, and a personal approach, you make visits memorable while working toward sales goals, building trust, and inspiring customer loyalty. The role also involves keeping the shopping space clean, organized, and inviting. Colleagues prepare for the day by reviewing sales goals, learning about new arrivals, top-selling items, trends, and promotions, and making sure the sales floor is ready for customers. They engage customers in friendly conversations, maintain a shoppable space by merchandising merchandise and updating signs and pricing, and help with merchandise moves and returns to vendors. They share loyalty program benefits, make sure customers have what they need, and end interactions with a sincere thank-you. Colleagues support one another, take pride in their work, pursue sales goals, and learn from each other to contribute to individual and store results. Seasonal colleagues are typically scheduled for 10–20 hours per week, depending on business needs and colleague availability.
