Seasonal Retail Sales Associate, Ross Park Mall

Macy's•Pittsburgh, PA

About The Position

As a Seasonal Retail Selling Colleague, you combine results-focused selling with genuine hospitality to create memorable holiday shopping experiences. You learn what customers need, offer personalized recommendations, and connect them with appropriate products and services on the sales floor and in the fitting room. You build trust and customer loyalty while working toward sales goals and providing service beyond cashiering. You also help keep the shopping space clean, organized, and inviting. At the start of the day, colleagues prepare the sales floor, review goals, and learn about new arrivals, popular items, trends, and promotions. During the day, they engage customers, maintain merchandise presentation, process damages and selected returns to vendors, update signs and pricing, and support merchandise moves. They share loyalty program benefits, ensure customers have what they need, and close interactions with a sincere thank-you. Colleagues support one another and continually work to improve individual and store results. Seasonal colleagues are typically scheduled for 10–20 hours per week. Hours depend on business needs and colleague availability.
