Seasonal Retail Sales Associate, Mall at Rockingham Park
About The Position
As a Seasonal Retail Selling Colleague at Macy’s Mall at Rockingham Park, you combine results-driven selling with genuine hospitality to create memorable holiday shopping experiences. You learn about customers’ needs, offer personalized recommendations, and connect them with relevant products and services. You engage customers on the sales floor and in fitting rooms, use product knowledge and personal attention to build trust and loyalty, and work toward sales goals. The role includes more than cashiering: you help maintain a clean, organized, inviting shopping space and contribute to a positive customer experience throughout the store. Seasonal colleagues typically work 10–20 hours per week, depending on business needs and colleague availability. Requirements

- Frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, and ability to process register transactions.
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and create friendly, personal conversations to build customer relationships.
- Understand customer needs and offer personalized product and service recommendations.
- Use product knowledge, current trends, and information about promotions to engage, educate, and sell confidently.
- Work toward daily sales goals and contribute to individual and store results.
- Share the benefits of the Macy’s Loyalty program and provide customers with a sincere, helpful end to their visit.
- Keep the sales floor clean, organized, prepared, and shoppable.
- Merchandise new receipts; process damages, testers, and selected merchandise for return to vendors; update signs and pricing; and support merchandise moves.
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to an honest, caring, and supportive team environment.
- Review sales goals and keep up to date on new arrivals, top-selling items, trends, and promotions.
- Attend reliably and punctually, and wear a name badge.
