Seasonal Retail Fragrances Sales Associate, Antelope Valley
About The Position
As a Seasonal Fragrance Sales Support colleague, you help create a warm, inviting experience in Macy’s fragrance department. You maintain a beautifully merchandised, fully stocked space while supporting the sales team behind the scenes and on the floor. Tasks include preparing products, restocking displays, and assisting with transactions. Your attention to detail and hospitality help ensure customers feel cared for. The role combines customer service and sales support. You anticipate team needs, keep the department ready for customers, and contribute to a positive shopping experience during the busy seasonal period. Seasonal colleagues are typically scheduled to work 10–20 hours per week; actual hours depend on business needs and colleague availability.
Requirements
- Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors.
- Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules and procedures in English.

- Ability to talk, lift, move constantly, stand, and reach with arms and hands.
- Ability to stand for at least two consecutive hours and lift at least 25 pounds.
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, and reach, including above eye level.
- Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
- Frequent use of computers and other technology needed to perform job functions.
Responsibilities
- Help ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and prepared for customers.
- Review sales goals and stay informed about new arrivals, top-selling items, trends, and promotions.
- Welcome customers and create friendly, personal conversations that build customer relationships.
- Maintain a shoppable space by merchandising new receipts, processing damages, testers, and selected merchandise for vendor returns, updating signs and pricing, and supporting merchandise moves.
- Share Loyalty program benefits, ensure customers have what they need, and provide a sincere thank-you at the end of the interaction.
- Support teammates with honesty, care, and collaboration.
- Work toward sales goals, take pride in the work, and learn from colleagues to contribute to individual and store results.
- Assist with register transactions and use handheld equipment and other technology required for job functions.
